Ambassador Profile

Hi future Vols!

My name is Kassidy Boone and I am a senior from Memphis, Tennessee majoring in mechanical engineering with minors in reliability & maintainability and business administration. My love for Tennessee Engineering runs deep. I participated in the Office of Diversity Programs' pre-college engineering summer programs (eVOL and HITES) from 9th to 12th grade. The experiences I had on campus as a high school student led me to enrolling at the university and choosing engineering as my field of study.

I am members organizations like the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) and Tennessee Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (TLSAMP). These organizations have been great resources for academic success, professional development, and lifelong friendships. Outside of class, I play intramural sports and am involved in sorority life. I love how easy it is to get involved in organizations on campus and can attribute my involvement to my success in college.

Feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns you have about Tennessee Engineering. I wish you the best of luck and hope to see you on Rocky Top soon!
