Ambassador Profile

Hey there, hi there, ho there friend. My name is Michael Butler, and you have the pleasure of reading my bio.

So here's the down-low on me. I am a Junior electrical engineering student here at good old UT, which you probably picked up on when you saw the words "Electrical Engineering" plastered above my name one page back. What you probably couldn't deduce is that I'm also a Second-year Resident's Assistant, a member of the Heath Integrated Business and Engineering Program, a member of the intramural taekwondo club, and a research assistant at CURENT, one of the University's many active research groups. I really enjoy what I do, and although that is quite a lot of commitments, it's only the smallest fraction of the things you could do at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

Choosing a school can be difficult; we all know that. I hadn't the slightest clue where I was going to go, and in the end, it was on a whim that I chose UT. Luckily, I can say it has been easy to adjust at UT, and today I am very happy with the choice I made. I come from a long background of moving, so I understand the struggle of making a new home. Please trust me when I say that if you make the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, your home, you won't regret it.

In the end, it's up to you, the student, to decide what to do with you're life, so please come over to the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and let us make you feel at home!
