Ambassador Profile
Hey future Vols!
My name is Price LeNoir, and I am a sophomore seeking a degree in Biomedical Engineering along with a minor in Computer Science. I grew up spending time on the beach and eating comfort food in my hometown, right outside of Charleston, SC. I am an avid sports fan and played basketball, soccer, and golf before moving to Knoxville. As well as being an ambassador, I enjoy taking part in the Association of Computer Machinery and learning more about programming.
I was able to complete my first internship while working in my hometown with Scout Boats, one of the largest luxury boat manufacturers in the southeast. I spent several weeks with their electrical engineering team designing and building wiring harnesses for new models, as well as creating cost-analysis spreadsheets and AutoCAD diagrams.
I am so happy to be able to call UT my home and have enjoyed every minute of my first couple semesters. Being in the engineering college has allowed me to meet new friends and find my own niche within such a large university. Being an out-of-state student, I was anxious about beginning my freshman year, but I can confidently say I’ve developed a close-knit group of friends, mentors, and professors that will be able to support me throughout my collegiate journey. There are an abundance of opportunities to help you flourish and make the most of your time in Knoxville, and I look forward to continuing to expand my interests and connections over the next couple of years.
I hope to see you all on Rocky Top in the future, and please contact me with any of your questions or concerns!
