Ambassador Profile
Hey Future Vols!
My name is Trinity Holmes, and I am from the soulful city of Memphis, located on the opposite side of Tennessee! I am a biomedical engineering major.
Originally, I had always dreamed of pursuing a career in the medical field, but I had a growing interest in engineering. My love for biomedical engineering developed after attending many engineering camps and touring a biomedical facility. I instantly fell in love with the idea of being able to pursue a career that combined two interests of mine.
Being six hours away from home, I was extremely nervous about attending such a large school. I can truly say getting involved on campus really helped make UT feel like home. Everything from academics to campus events to organizations and clubs have truly helped me grow and find some of my best friends. On campus, I am involved in organizations like Society of Women Engineers (SWE), National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), Multicultural Enhancement for the University of Tennessee (ME4UT), Upper Room Discussions, and the Basic Needs Service Team.
I'm very grateful to have a position as an Engineering Ambassador, and I can't wait to meet so many of you on Rocky Top! If you have any questions about engineering, campus involvement, or anything else feel free to contact me!
