Ambassador Profile
Hey future Vols!
My name is Cole Perry, and I am a junior majoring in aerospace engineering with a minor in mechanical engineering.
I am from the small town of Dandridge, TN, and have lived in the surrounding Knoxville area my entire life. Outside of school, I love line-dancing, spending time with friends, and cheering on the Vols no matter the sport!
Looking back, I never would have imagined attending a school so close to home, but after going on my first campus tour, I immediately knew that Rocky Top would become my new home sweet home. From the atmosphere on game day to the opportunities in undergraduate research at the Tickle College of Engineering, I found my love for UT.
With two years already passed, I am so grateful to have chosen this campus. Aside from continuing my role as an engineering ambassador this school year, I will be an undergraduate teaching assistant for the Engineering Fundamentals program as well as being involved with undergraduate research as part of the Hypersonics and Propulsion Lab here at UT. On campus, I take part in the Cook Grand Challenge Honors Program, and the Chancellor’s Honors program, and serve as the vice chair for the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
I hope to see you on Rocky Top and please feel free to reach out with questions about UT, Aerospace Engineering, or anything else!
