Hey future Vols!
My name is Cole Perry, and I am a sophomore majoring in Aerospace Engineering with a Mechanical Engineering minor!
I am from the small town of Dandridge, TN, and I have lived in the surrounding Knoxville area for my entire life. In my free time, I enjoy reading anything space-related, spending time with friends, and being in the outdoors.
Looking back, I never would have imagined myself attending a school so close to home, but after going on my first campus tour, I immediately knew that Rocky Top would become my new home sweet home. From the atmosphere on game day, to the opportunities in undergraduate research at the Tickle College of Engineering (TCE), I found my love for UT.
While I've only been here for one year, I am so grateful to have chosen this campus. Aside from being an ambassador to the TCE this school year, I will be an undergraduate teaching assistant for the Engineering Fundamentals program and will also serve on the Engage Leadership Team for the Engage Living and Learning Community. On campus, I take part in the Cook Grand Challenge Honors Program, the Chancellor’s Honors program, and the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
