Ambassador Profile
Hey Future Vols!
My name is Sanya Shrivastava, and I’m from Franklin, TN. I am currently a sophomore pursuing a major in Computer Science along with double minors in Business and Data Science.
Aside from being a Tickle College of Engineering (TCE) Ambassador, I am a part of the Chancellor’s Honors Program and the Cook Grand Challenge Honors Program. Throughout my time at UT, I have been able to get involved in a variety of organizations on campus. I am a part of the Engage Leadership Team as a mentor to incoming engineers. I am also a member of the Honors and Scholars Council, Society of Women Engineers, Hack4Impact, the Club Tennis Team, Badminton Club, and the Indian American Association. I have been able to gain experience working in a couple of undergraduate research positions as well. These clubs and programs have given me the chance to expand my interests and grow my skillset.
TCE provides students with numerous opportunities and resources that allow you to grow professionally, academically, and socially. After my freshmen year, I was able to complete my first internship at Deloitte where I worked on a project focused on a client-based cross-business case simulation and a project-based experience to help non-profit organizations solve real-life business problems. Throughout all of this, I was able to gain personalized mentorship and professional training.
So far, my favorite part about UT and TCE have been the abundance of everything! When I say everything, I really do mean everything. No matter what you are interested in, there will always be a way for you to get involved around campus and find something that is a perfect fit for you!
